Last month, our graphics team, a.k.a. Deven Langston and Joe Ryan, enthusiastically accepted the opportunity to impart some of their job knowledge to second-grade students. Both men have taught on the collegiate level, so they know their way around a classroom.

Deven and Joe spoke at Walton Elementary School in Prince George, VA for Math + Science Day, an event that exposes students to a variety of careers in--yep, you guessed it--the math and science fields. Five groups of second-graders rotated through the classroom, listening in awe as our graphics team described what they do at Metro.

The kids asked a lot of questions throughout the day...

"Did you make the Simpsons?"

"Did you make SpongeBob?"

"Did you make Harry Potter?"

"Sir...is it real? Is the magic real?"

Yes, yes, the magic is real, and although Deven and Joe did not make any of the aforementioned shows/movies, they have produced amazing work throughout their respective careers. The students thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our lovely Metro men, and it was a great way to hopefully inspire some future graphic artists!

Thanks to Walton for hosting the fun event!
